Introduction to Wajdi Mohamad & Company ("WCO")

Wajdi bin Mohamad (“Wajdi”) founded WCO in 2009 before turning it into partnership setting in 2012. WCO comprises of 2 Senior Business Advisors, 3 partners, 1 legal assistant and 6 managers and/or support staffs providing legal services in litigation and non- contention matters. WCO is based in KL Sentral East (Brickfields), Kuala Lumpur which is the capital city of Malaysia and Kota Bharu which is east of Malaysia.
Besides referring to the partners, legal assistants, managers and/or support staffs, “Company” or “Co” in WCO’s name also refers to WCOMY Sdn Bhd (formerly known as WCO Aspire Sdn Bhd) (“WCOMY”) which is a private limited company which provides non-legal services in consulting business, corporate and logistics advisory & trainings, company secretarial services, insolvency support services, construction industry payment and adjudication, sports bodies management advisory & trainings and debt recovery support services. WCOMY is led by Dr. Haji Ku Azhar Ku Abdul Razak (“Dr. Haji Ku”) as its Chairman and Managing Director.
Dr. Haji Ku was appointed as the Business Advisor for WCO since 2021 and brings his wealth of business experience and expertise to the firm.
After 13 years of progression, WCO has established its position as a specialised law firm mainly in the area of corporate dispute and insolvency litigation, property purchase and financing, corporate loans, M&A and international trade. With regards to the international trade, WCO had forged strategic business alliance with law firms from Korea, the Philippines, India, Vietnam and Thailand since 2014 and successfully worked on cross border matters with the law firms. Beginning 2022 WCO expanded the alliance further by spearheading a business network comprising professionals from different continent and countries named Continental Professionals.
For the last 5 years, WCOMY has been working hand in hand with WCO undertaking mainly consulting, business advisory and company secretarial services for customers locally and abroad.
